Can I upload, email an invoice or credit note that I created with my office software (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)?

Yes, from your office tool, use the "Print" or "Save As" feature and choose the PDF format to generate your PDF document. 

You can then upload it to the portal or send it by email if your client offers this option.
